Question: How to write a narrative Essay? Explain. Answer: Introduction The main aim of the narrative essay is to discuss the responses to the topics on child care facility. I have selected a state in which I would like to operate a child care facility and then have specified the guidelines and regulations that are required to operate a child care facility. Body I would like to operate the child care facility at Los Angeles in California. The region is Hope Street in Los Angeles, California. To operate a child care facility few guidelines and norms needs to be followed. It is essential to open the child care facility at the residential area. The child care facility should have sufficient staff, equipments and materials to take care of child properly. Some of the requirements of child care facility are supervision of children and maintaining discipline practices (Calman Tarr-Whelan, 2014). It is also essential for me to ensure that I maintain safety and sanitation at the unit. Proper staff training and development should be provided in order to avoid any mishap. The unit should have a proper fire and safety codes to avoid any mishap. Los Angeles is the third largest metropolitan economy in world. It has a population of around thirteen million and is a second largest city in United States. The city is famous for international trade, entertainment, fashion and petroleum. It is one of the most populous cities after New York. There are various child care units where the children are taken care of (Stephens Scott, 2003). To operate the child care facility at Los Angeles it is essential to apply for a child care licensing program. The regulation for child day care facility is given in 55 pa. Code chapter 3270, child care centers where the regulations are provided for the operating child care facility (Child Care License Requirements Overview, 2016). The general requirements are dual licensure, emergency plan and child abuse reporting. It is the responsibility of the government to check that the centers operate in compliance to the laws and regulations. A child care center is usually located in a commercial or residential area. In order to get a child care center license it is essential for the licensee to attend an orientation that is scheduled on a regular basis. The operator must be familiar with the idea of all child care center licensing laws and regulations. Licensing program also includes inspection of child care homes. The child care centre concerned, plans to operate with no infants, 12 toddlers and 72 preschoolers. It is essential for the child care centers to hire the employees that are trained enough to take a good care of the child. The human resource department is responsible for hiring right employees at right time for right job. They are also responsible for giving training to employees so that they can work properly (Hudgins et al., 2013). Since taking care of a child is a complex process, hence it is necessary to hire employees that are trained. Licensing is also necessary and it is necessary for the government to ensure that centers comply with laws set by state. Conclusion Hence, operation of a child care centre is a complex process.
